Due to continued growth at this leading private label business, an opportunity for a trend lead women's knitwear designer has arisen.

Reporting in to the head of design and working closely with the wider team, you will be responsible for the design and execution of knitwear product for a variety of leading and trend lead UK high street retailers.

Day to day you will be researching the market via international shopping trips to remain aware of and implementing direction and innovation across technique/ colour/ shape; creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development; presenting ranges to customers in person in a confident manner; communicating effectively with sourcing teams globally including travel to factories; and overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.

The role will suit a confident and tenacious true knitwear designer, ideally with circa 5 years experience designing for the high street sector.
