An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Women's Mid-Senior Knitwear Designer with a leading high street supplier, working within a lovely design team to help take them to the next level. Fantastic career development!


Key Responsibilities

Design and Trend

  • Create strong trend-driven, innovative and commercial knitwear collections for both customer accounts and range collections, identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
  • Strong understanding of knit construction, yarns, gauges & production.
  • Conduct continual trend and competitor research, store visits, and report insights.
  • Present designs to customers, plan and attend meetings, and incorporate feedback into range.
  • Oversee the design process, meeting critical deadlines to ensure quality.
  • Participate in UK & international inspiration shopping/development trips and yarn fairs.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in knitwear design with a strong commercial trend portfolio.
  • Illustrator and CAD software, creating detailed tech packs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relations skills.
