Good The role of a Behaviour Support Mentor is to support children who struggle with Social, Emotional Mental Health & Special Educational Needs. The school supports children who suffer from mild to extreme anxiety, depression, ODD, etc. The Head Teacher is seeking someone who is genuinely interested in and passionate about helping children with such struggles. The ideal candidate should be patient, kind, dedicated, and committed. Getting to know each student on a personal level is imperative. Training and support will be given to best help you support these children. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a psychology/criminology graduate who is keen to gain hands-on experience with different behaviours and mental health needs. Alternatively, this would be the perfect role for an experienced TA/LSA who is seeking the opportunity to work with children with complex needs and gain extensive knowledge on SEN/SEMH. No matter if you are a graduate or an experienced TA/LSA, this role is a great opportunity to give back to the community and make a real positive impact on young students' lives. The ideal candidate must have UK school experience or a child-related qualification and a genuine passion for helping struggling children achieve their best academically & emotionally.
