Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join our team at a vibrant primary school in SE19, London. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for KS2 students
Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and setting targets for improvement
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and personal development
Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) is required
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
A commitment to the welfare and development of students
A willingness to contribute to the wider school community and participate in extra-curricular activities
