Learning Mentor

to support students in

Key Stages 3 and 4

within a vibrant school setting in

Plymouth . This is an excellent opportunity to help students achieve their potential and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to students in

KS3-4 , addressing individual learning needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create effective learning plans. Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging student engagement and confidence. Support students in overcoming barriers to learning, including academic and personal challenges. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents. Requirements

Experience working with secondary school students, particularly in

KS3-4 . Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff. A

valid UK driving licence

and access to a vehicle are highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting student development. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Why Join GSL Education?
