Are you interested in financial services, compliance, and regulatory processes? Can you combine this with strong analytical skills and attention to detail? We are looking for new or experienced KYC Analysts to join an existing project team to deliver a critical international remediation project beginning January 2025. KYC stands for 'Know Your Customer' and is a set of processes that financial institutions use to verify the identity of their customers. KYC is a key part of efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. The role is based in City Quays, Belfast, with 3 days a week in the office with the project team. What will I be learning? In this role, you’ll experience working in compliance and risk management at a large financial services firm. Over the first 1-2 weeks with us, you’ll complete our award-winning Simulate training to develop the skills and knowledge you’ll need to perform the role of a KYC Analyst successfully and confidently. Afterwards, you will move to the client site, helping to deliver a remediation project. What work will I be doing? Conducting KYC reviews as part of a remediation project. Verifying and validating client documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Performing enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients. Updating and maintaining accurate records of KYC-related documentation. Collaborating with compliance and operational teams to resolve KYC-related queries. Identifying and escalating risks or suspicious activities to appropriate stakeholders. What will I be gaining? Training in both technical and soft skills. Experience working at a top financial services firm on a critical international project. Ongoing formal and informal support and training as you develop and learn in your role. Social events, as well as community, charity, and voluntary activities. The potential opportunity to convert to a permanent role with the client. What are we looking for? You’ll demonstrate: An interest in risk and controls in financial services, or up to 3 years of experience in a related role. Curiosity, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Enthusiasm and commitment to learn and grow in a compliance-focused role. Essential Criteria: We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate evidence of the below. This can be in an academic, personal, work, or other context - a degree isn't necessary. A strong interest in financial services, compliance, and risk management. Skills in analysing data, managing documentation, or related areas. Enthusiasm and commitment to learn and grow in a regulatory environment. Benefits: Alongside your starting salary, there will be a performance review every 6 months with a potential salary uplift. Ongoing training and development support through one-to-one coaching and access to live training services. Health cash plan coverage. Cycle-to-work scheme. We are fully committed to being an Equal Opportunities, inclusive employer. We are passionate about attracting diverse talent and welcome applications regardless of ethnicity, culture, age, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation. Things you need to know: • To apply, you must provide us with a CV and answer a few initial questions. • We’d like to make you aware that if you have not heard back from us within three weeks of the date of application, we will not be progressing your application.
