This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with innovative processes while supporting the company's efforts to contribute to the UK's net-zero targets. You'll be responsible for conducting tests, analyses, and experiments, as well as maintaining equipment and ensuring high-quality standards in a laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine testing using technical equipment and instruments. Collect, process, and analyse waste samples. Calculate and report test results accurately using computer software. Prepare and deliver weekly reports for customers. Supervise and support experiments that drive innovation. Perform quality control checks, calibrate lab equipment, and maintain a clean workspace. Comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and foster a safe working environment. Assist in improving testing methodologies and enhancing waste treatment processes. Provide occasional cover for the site weighbridge, monitoring weigh-ins/outs and issuing tickets. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field is preferred. 1-2 years of laboratory experience. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Analytical and numerical skills, including the ability to work with fractions, percentages, and ratios. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
