Lab Technician Full-time, temporary, Chorley Job Overview We are currently seeking a highly motivated Lab Technician to join our team on a full-time temporary basis in Chorley. If you are passionate about science and have experience in laboratory settings, this is a great opportunity to contribute to an exciting and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will provide technical support for practical lessons, ensuring that resources and equipment are prepared and available. Committed to developing their personal skills, the successful candidate will preferably have a background in involving a technical discipline and have a well-organised and practical approach. Key Responsibilities: Support laboratory operations by preparing and maintaining equipment and materials. Assist with conducting experiments and ensuring all lab procedures follow health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records and ensure proper storage of samples and chemicals. Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas as required. Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting results. Key Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience working as a lab technician or in a similar laboratory environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of lab safety protocols and procedures. A qualification in science (such as BTEC, A-Level, or a degree in a relevant field) would be desirable.
