We are currently recruiting for our well established client in Lincoln, we are looking for a Lab Technician to join their team! Working hours:

Monday-Friday Rotating shift pattern of 6am-2:30pm (6:30-12:30 Friday) and 1:30pm-10pm (12-6 Friday) Main responsibilities: You will prepare laboratory reports outlining details of the examination and any conclusions reached. Ensuring that all inspection documentation is complete and that all details have been accurately recorded on outgoing certification is required in this role. You are responsible for issuing the final certification of conformance prior to the dispatch of components. You will raise non-conformance reports when required. Monitoring strip line by means of chemical analysis, as well as analysing coatings using SEM and EDX will be part of this role. You will prepare and evaluate various hardness samples. Perform tensile tests on prepared samples. Metallurgically examine coatings on customer components to ascertain cause of failure/acceptance. Key Incumbent Requirements: You have previous laboratory experience within manufacturing, coating or the aerospace industries. You are educated to A level or above or equivalent (with a science-based subject) is desirable but not essential. Further you must be analytical and detail orientated. You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Additionally, you possess the demonstrable ability to deliver your responsibilities in line with safety, quality and productivity targets. Please apply with your CV if interested.
