Monday-Friday Rotating shift pattern of 6am-2:30pm (6:30-12:30 Friday) and 1:30pm-10pm (12-6 Friday). Main responsibilities: Prepare laboratory reports outlining details of the examination and any conclusions reached. Ensure that all inspection documentation is complete and that all details have been accurately recorded on outgoing certification. Issue the final certification of conformance prior to the dispatch of components. Raise non-conformance reports when required. Monitor strip line by means of chemical analysis, as well as analyze coatings using SEM and EDX. Prepare and evaluate various hardness samples. Perform tensile tests on prepared samples. Metallurgically examine coatings on customer components to ascertain cause of failure/acceptance. Have previous laboratory experience within manufacturing, coating, or the aerospace industries. Be educated to A level or above or equivalent (with a science-based subject) is desirable but not essential. Be analytical and detail-oriented. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Demonstrate the ability to deliver responsibilities in line with safety, quality, and productivity targets. Please apply with your CV if interested.
