To prepare fine fragrance, personal care and household application samples as requested for customer briefs.
To prepare applications for the UK perfumers and developers
To provide BX QC with ‘New fragrance reference oils’ on a daily basis
Tasks and Responsibilities
Maintain and update stock of fragrances on PV Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and good laboratory practices Accurately dispense fragrance oils in a clean and safe manner to finished products, meeting the deadlines required from the project initiator, salesperson, perfumer or Laboratory Manager To maintain the fragrance library in a neat & tidy manner in order that contamination of fragrance oils can be prevented To transfer finished samples to agreed deadlines to project initiator according to quality guidelines To liaise with the project initiators, perfumers or Laboratory Manager on any issues that may delay sample deadlines To help maintain stock of all laboratory consumables e.g., jar bottles etc. Skills and Attributes Required
Qualification Graduate or studying toward a relevant qualification in a related science field will be an advantage but not essential. Skills and Knowledge Good communication at all levels Olfactory capabilities Good time management and multi-tasking skills Ability to work under pressure, in a team or as an individual Methodical and precise working practices Attributes Must display and demonstrate attitudes in line with the Company Values
