We are currently seeking an interim Laboratory Assistant (Capsule Producer) to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based at our client's scientific Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £25,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
If you have a passion for innovation and consumer products, want to be fully hands-on in developing future superior formulations, then this is the job for you. You will be part of a fast-moving team, responsible for making capsules that meet quality standards on an ad-hoc basis when required by the project.
Role Responsibilities Work and support the team to produce Machine Dishwash Capsules. Meet quality standards set. Design, plan, and execute own work plans (with support from workstream leader), ensuring compliance with COSHH and SOP requirements. At times, provide help on other ad-hoc activities around getting products ready for consumer testing/technical testing.
Key Requirements Happy to work on repetitive tasks. Good planning and organization skills. Laboratory/factory experience is favorable.
