Laboratory Assistant

to join our clients Technical Team. If you have a natural flair for Chemistry and are keen to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! While prior experience in Chemistry is ideal, we are also willing to train the right candidate who has an interest in the field. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the collection and sampling of plating and anodising treatment solutions. Support the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Perform routine sampling and analysis of plating and anodising chemicals. Manage waste solutions and ensure proper disposal. Maintain accurate data records and ensure all work complies with company health and safety procedures. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised laboratory environment. Uphold environmental responsibility and ensure compliance with company standards. Person Specification: Essential: Strong communicator with a willingness to learn. Organised and able to maintain good housekeeping standards. Inquisitive and proactive, with problem-solving skills. Computer literate, especially in Word and Excel. Minimum GCSE qualifications in English, Maths, and Chemistry. Desirable: Experience in a laboratory environment. Background in Manufacturing. The Package: Competitive pay range of £11.95 - £13.25 per hour, depending on experience. 25 days holiday
