About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time position within our Laboratory Customer Support Team in

Exeter . You will provide administrative support to the Laboratory and be an interface between the Laboratory and its internal, external and subcontract customers. You will receive a salary of

£24,125.00

per annum (pro rata) plus excellent benefits. What you'll be doing:

Receipt and registration of samples received at the Laboratory for regulatory and commercial purposes using LIMS Sample Manager. Running reports to monitor samples received, and acting to resolve deviations or deficiencies to ensure that samples are analysed and reported according to customer expectations. Liaison with Laboratory customers (internal, external and subcontractors) to provide effective customer support such as the provision of pre-registered paperwork and bottles as required. Subcontracting of samples and completion of associated records. Liaison with subcontractors providing results and entry of returning sample data into laboratory systems. Display high standards of performance and quality control in keeping with a UKAS, DWTS and MCERTS accredited laboratory. Other office-based general administration as may be required. To undertake such other duties as required within the broad purpose of the job that may include out of hours or weekend working. What we are looking for:

5 GCSEs Grades A – C, including English and Mathematics or Science (or equivalent qualification). Scientific background is desirable. Experience in an office administration role. Experience in a customer-facing role. Work in a quality-controlled area. Successful participation in team-working. Proven experience in using Microsoft Office packages, spreadsheets, and SharePoint.
