Health and Safety/Estates Management Professional (Local Nominated Person) Location: Animal & Plant Health Agency Headquarters Grade: HEO Estimated Salary: £38,825 per annum We are seeking a skilled professional to assume a pivotal role in health and safety and estates management within the Bacteriology Department at our headquarters. This role is critical in protecting animal and public health. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment that supports routine and emergency response diagnostic work, reference laboratory activities, and research studies. To achieve this, we require individuals with a good understanding of practical laboratory work, excellent communication and team working skills, and the ability to identify areas for improvement or concerns, communicate these to senior managers, deliver safety training, and liaise with facilities management providers and external contractors.
