Laboratory Reception Assistant x4

Location: Nottingham
Contract: Temp to perm
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Our client is an innovative science and research organisation looking for Laboratory Reception Administrators to join their team. This is an excellent entry-level position for people wanting to progress.
Duties will include:
Providing lab support to facilitate testing services
Working closely with the wider laboratory team, scientists & biomedical staff
Handling confidential patient data
Maintaining and calibrating equipment
Booking in and recording samples
Maintaining a safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures and regulations
Working closely with other departments and employees
Maintaining customer contact
Skills/Experience Required:
Previous experience in a similar role essential - office support / data entry / admin / customer service
An understanding of confidentiality
Excellent communication skills and a desire to progress
Additional information: this role is fully office-based. You will be on a temporary contract for 12 weeks. Depending on performance, there is the opportunity for a permanent contract at the end.
