Roles and Responsibilities: Configure and administrate chemical software systems to ensure accurate and relevant data is recorded and compliant with the company QMS across all sites. Analyse process performance data to ensure compliance and mitigate risk of non-conformance. Perform and train on chemical testing to achieve chemical competency across all sites. Control and train on chemical additions to tanks based on test results and tank performance across all sites. Ensure chemicals storage and handling is carried out correctly (COSHH) and that company H&S policy is followed. Collaborate with other departments and advise on chemical optimisation of plating tanks based on process needs across all sites. Compose and maintain processes and procedures as well as other controlling documents in line with the company QMS and with regulatory standards such as ISO9001 and NADCAP. Organize calibration and servicing of laboratory equipment in line with regulatory requirements, e.g., NADCAP and ISO9001. Collaborate with local authorities and the Environment Agency to ensure effluent discharge complies with discharge consents and environmental permits. Perform and train on basic maintenance functions within the laboratory effluent plant and plating tanks. Utilize and train on OPEX tools such as lean 5S and best practices in the laboratory to set clear housekeeping standards. Skills: Understand and predict the relationship between chemicals. Analytical and able to find the root cause of problems. Knowledge of chemical formulations. Report: You will report directly to the Quality Manager and Global Quality Director.
