Your impact: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for undertaking soil testing as instructed based on the approved lab schedules and under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager. The person: Experience in a similar role is desirable A methodical and practical approach with attention to detail Strong communication and organisational skills A team player, diligent and flexible. The job: Participating in any health and safety talks, meetings or training. Recording and processing test data. Performing and recording daily and weekly equipment checks. Ensuring timely execution of laboratory tests. Preparing, testing and analysing soil samples to determine their content and characteristics, using laboratory tools or testing equipment – testing may include but not be limited to: moisture contents; plastic and liquid limit testing; particle size distribution tests; density tests.
