Cambridge Key Accountabilities: Perform sample preparation & extraction in line with SGS approved standard operating procedures. Deliver consistently high standards of analytical performance ensuring the laboratory operates to the defined requirements of ISO 17025 (accredited by UKAS). Monitor and comply with quality system requirements. Play an integral role in ensuring on-time delivery of results to customers at the right level of quality. Responsible for actively monitoring and maintaining lab consumables to the required level. Demonstrate compliance with international and company approved test methods, procedures and quality systems. Essential criteria for ISO 17025 accreditation and adherence to SGS Laboratory Quality Systems. Qualifications

A-Level or equivalent in chemistry or related science based subject or equivalent. Experience of practical chemistry or related science subject. Must be computer literate in use of MS Packages. Must have a rudimentary knowledge of chemistry, analytical equipment and methods. Effective interpersonal, teamworking and time management skills. Knowledge of the impact and application of pesticides and contaminants. Experience in an ISO17025 food contaminants testing environment. Experience of working within a UKAS accredited laboratory. Degree in chemistry or related science based subject. Additional Information
