Materials Laboratory Technician - Leading multinational materials manufacturer in Hertfordshire. Job Opportunity – Materials Laboratory Technician Company:

Salary:

Up to £29k (depending on skills and experience) You will be involved in: Testing of construction materials using wet chemistry and physical techniques such as hardness, density, cure times, etc. Investigating non-conformances in products and helping update SOPs. Inputting data onto Excel and producing reports. Equipment calibration and general upkeep of the laboratory. Liaison with QM and production to ensure quality compliance. What do you need to be considered? You will need: Science or engineering qualification - ideally A-level (or equivalent) or above. Previous laboratory testing experience in SG, viscosity, and other physical testing techniques (i.e., hardness, tensile, etc.). Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills. A desire to develop your career in quality (i.e., into quality management). Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to make critical decisions independently, once fully trained. Interested?
