The role: Preparation of samples for customer briefs.
Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and good laboratory practices.
Accurately dispense oils in a clean and safe manner to finished products, meeting the deadlines required from the project initiator, salesperson, perfumer, or Laboratory Manager.
Maintain the fragrance library in a neat and tidy manner to prevent contamination of fragrance oils.
Transfer finished samples to project initiator according to quality guidelines and agreed deadlines.
Liaise with project initiators, perfumers, or Laboratory Manager regarding any issues that may delay sample deadlines.
Help maintain stock of all laboratory consumables (jars, bottles, etc.).
Qualifications:
Graduate or studying toward a relevant qualification in a related science field will be an advantage.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Good communication at all levels.
Good sense of smell.
Good time management and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work under pressure, in a team or as an individual.
Methodical and precise working practices.
