Your new company Do you have a keen interest in technology and quality control? Do you excel in both collaborative and independent work settings? If so, our client is looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic manufacturing team!

Your new role You will join our technical team and work with other technologists to develop and improve rubber compounds. Your responsibilities will include: Collecting raw materials from the warehouse or shop floor. Accurately weighing ingredients according to precise recipes. Mixing materials to create lab batches of rubber. Preparing test samples. Conducting tests to meet specifications. Creating reports and sharing results with the technical department.

You will also occasionally be working collaboratively with the Quality Control department, where responsibilities include: Testing of production compound properties. Reporting results in the system and passing off batches if in specification. Reporting any out of specification/rejects. Working closely with laboratory supervisors, production and technical on any issues during production runs.

A systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently. A keen eye for detail, especially in testing and reporting results. Experience of weighing and mixing ingredients.
