Laboratory Technician Market Drayton Permanent contract 4 on 4 off (days) 7AM – 7PM We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Market Drayton butter department within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. The main purpose of the Laboratory Technician is assuring quality performance through analysis, subject knowledge and testing performance whilst striving to continuously improve in line with the Müller values. Lab Technician Key tasks: Provide expertise through quality based testing and data evaluation Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems / troubleshooting through data analysis and evaluation Play an active part in building QMS capability across site Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc) Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports Responsible for internal and external audit processes Look for “waste” in everything that we do Actively seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and convert to own continuous improvement projects Collaboratively work with other team members to improve our business We’re looking for the following from our Lab Technicians: HACCP Awareness (Level 2-3) Basic Food Hygiene Microbiology and aseptic techniques Internal Audit Yellow and Green belt problem solving A3 problem solving Word and Excel Electronic Data Capture Dairy Science Benefits: Career progression and development Salary sacrifice pension scheme with Müller matching up to 4% Life Assurance at 2 x your annual salary 264 hours holiday Access to the Müller Rewards discount scheme offering over 800 discounts online and in-store and the potential to make savings across grocery and clothes shopping, holidays, insurance, gifts and more
