Exciting Opportunity for a Talented Women's Outerwear Designer!

We're currently recruiting for a globally renowned, design-led apparel manufacturer that partners with some of the biggest retailers on the UK high street and is known for their innovative designs and commitment to sustainability. They're on the lookout for a talented Women's Outerwear Designer to join their team!

They are looking for a designer specializing in casual and formal jackets across ladieswear. This is an exciting opportunity to work with several of their major accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial portfolio, relevant supplier experience, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Keeping your finger on the pulse of fashion trends, researching styles, shapes, and silhouettes. Designing bestselling outerwear ranges that hit the mark with customers. Working with overseas factories (including trips to Bangladesh) to oversee sampling and ensure every detail is spot on. Present collections confidently to buyers, demonstrating a strong understanding of both fashion trends and technical aspects. Collaborating with the team in the NW England office (with fortnightly travel required). Managing tech packs through the PLM system, making sure factories have exactly what they need. Sourcing fabrics and trims to create standout designs. Juggling multiple projects in a busy, high-volume environment. Key Requirements

5-7 years' experience designing outerwear, especially casual and formal jackets. Strong ladieswear background. Solid supplier-side experience, especially with high-volume UK retailers. A great understanding of garment costing, construction, and the technical side of things. Confidence working with factories in Bangladesh and China. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems. Willingness to travel when needed. What's In It for You:
