While there’s flexibility with hybrid working, teamwork is key, and everyone works together in an open-plan studio, supporting each other day-to-day. The role offers a variety of projects, from urban design to working with rural landowners, so there’s always something different. THE STUDIO This landscape architecture practice focuses on creating beautiful and functional spaces. They work on everything from private gardens to large public areas. Whether it’s a small garden or a large urban development, their aim is to design places that look great and work well for the people who use them, while connecting with the surrounding environment. The team is small but highly skilled, with a handful of people bringing their expertise to each project. They collaborate with clients to bring ideas to life in a practical and sustainable way. The focus is on designing spaces that are functional and enjoyable, not just visually appealing, ensuring they stand the test of time. REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate should have a strong background in landscape architecture, with experience across a variety of project types and scales. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Good communication skills are important, as the role involves working closely with clients, colleagues, and contractors. The candidate should be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A relevant degree in landscape architecture or a related field is required, and a professional qualification (such as a chartership) would be an advantage. BENEFITS OFFERED The practice offers a friendly and supportive work environment where team collaboration is key, and employees have plenty of opportunities to grow. There’s flexibility with hybrid working, but the team also enjoys working together in an open-plan studio. With a mix of exciting projects, everyone gets the chance to gain experience across different types of work.
