About the Role

As a Landscape Planner, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a variety of projects by preparing high-quality landscape assessments and planning advice. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in integrating landscape considerations into the planning and design process to achieve sustainable and aesthetically impactful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) to support planning applications. Develop landscape strategies and masterplans that align with client and project objectives. Provide planning advice on landscape-related issues, including designations, mitigation, and compliance with planning policy. Assist in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and other technical reports. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions. Contribute to project management tasks, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. About You

You are a passionate and knowledgeable Landscape Planner, eager to contribute to the creation of sustainable and visually impactful environments. With a solid understanding of the UK planning system and landscape policy, you bring both technical expertise and creative thinking to your work. Key Skills and Qualifications: Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, or a related field. Working towards or achieving Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI). Experience in preparing LVIA in accordance with industry guidelines. Familiarity with UK planning systems, landscape policy, and environmental regulations. Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly. Collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork and project delivery.
