As a Senior Laravel Developer, you will take the lead on web development projects, from initial concept to deployment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop scalable solutions, and deliver exceptional applications. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in Laravel development who thrives on challenges, values collaboration, and is passionate about mentoring others. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of web applications using Laravel, managing the entire project lifecycle. Collaborate with teams to define technical specifications, timelines, and requirements. Architect and design scalable, maintainable solutions adhering to best practices and coding standards. Mentor junior developers, providing guidance to enhance their technical growth. Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring performance, quality, and security. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption where relevant. What We're Looking For:
Skills & Experience:
6+ years of hands-on experience in web development, specialising in Laravel. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related technologies. Deep understanding of MVC design patterns, object-oriented programming, and software architecture principles. A proven history of successfully delivering complex web projects on time and to budget. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Experience with Git version control and proficiency in modern development tools/IDEs. Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js or React.
