Salary £12.00 per hour | Permanent, Part Time, 10.5 hours per week | Dolphinlee, Lancaster | Pro Rata International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship **Interviews to be held in January 2025** About the Role The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council is looking to recruit a Laundry Assistant who is required to carry out laundry duties at Dolphinlee House. The working hours are from 09:00 - 12:00 on a two-week rota: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday Week 2: Thursday & Friday Lancashire County Council provides vital residential care services to the people of Lancashire. These services provide a safe, secure environment that allows older people as much independence as possible while supporting a range of care needs. The Facilities Management team carries out cleaning and laundry duties at all Residential Care Homes and Day Centres. Keeping a person's personal possessions clean is critically important to those who use the services. High standards of premises laundry and cleanliness are expected, and prior experience is desirable; however, full training and ongoing support will be provided. Duties will consist of loading and emptying washing and drying machines, rolling and pressing laundry items, as well as storing laundry items. Some cleaning duties may also be required. The work address is: Patterdale Road, Ridge Estate, Lancaster, LA1 3LZ Please ensure you have means of travelling to the above work address.
