We are recruiting for a Laundry Maintenance Engineer for a long established company in Christchurch. Hours:

The role is working a 37.5 hour week between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday with a half an hour lunch break. Salary:

starts at £30,000 per annum but potentially negotiable depending on experience. Company

The 60 year old family run business is an industry leader in the supply and maintenance of commercial laundry and catering equipment, with extensive experience and a well-established reputation. They have become the leading suppliers and repair agents of equipment to offshore, marine and onshore businesses, including but not limited to: Military and Domestic Vessels, Hotel and Leisure, Nursing Homes, Retirement homes, Local Authorities, NHS, Marinas and Holiday Parks. The Company provides top level service and maintenance to all of their clients in the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas and has a very low staff turnover. Duties will include:

Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment - commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers and rotary irons. Working on electrical and gas fired laundry equipment. Covering Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Working with clients such as nursing homes, offices, holiday parks, hotels etc. Applicant

The applicant should possess the following skills and attributes: Laundry equipment service experience - any laundry maintenance experience would be considered - gas or electrical. Relevant gas certificates - CCLNG1, CLE would be beneficial but is not essential. Having a white goods or domestic gas appliances background would also be considered. Good electrical competency.
