About Us
Mid Kent Legal Services (MKLS) is part of Mid Kent Services, a shared services directorate formed by Swale, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Borough Councils. MKLS provides high quality legal services across the three Authorities encompassing Property and Regeneration, Planning, Contentious, Contracts & Commissioning.
Responsibilities: Drafting and reviewing contracts. Advising on legal implications of various commissioning activities. Representing the Council in legal proceedings. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Minimum Requirements: Qualified solicitor or barrister with relevant experience. Strong knowledge of contract law. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
