Lawyer Family (Private) Stourbridge Full time, permanent opportunity We are looking for a proactive Family Lawyer to join Talbots Law, with a minimum of 2 years qualified experience as a Solicitor or Legal Executive in Family Law. As a Lawyer, you will be expected to deal with high net worth privately funded work; providing accurate family law advice to clients and handling matters from initial instruction through to completion. What the job involves: Working across a variety of predominantly privately funded matters including Divorce, Financial remedy, Domestic violence, Children law / Children Act applications, Emergency applications and orders, Adoption and Special Guardianship. Advising upon and conducting proceedings to secure the proper course of action and balanced favourable judgments. Utilising the Company’s case management system to its best effect in order to manage case load as well as record time so that files can be billed efficiently. Support the development of the Family Law Department and the Company as a whole in growing its client base by the delivery of an excellent service. What you need: To be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience, specialising within Private Family law. Strong working knowledge of financial relief. Proven track record of conducting proceedings from commencement to conclusion and passionate about giving outstanding client care to clients and referrers. Excellent administrative, planning, organisation and time management as well as being proficient in a variety of IT software, including all MS Office applications.
