About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic L&D Manager to join our client's People and Culture team. This key position will lead and manage the training team, ensuring the successful design, delivery, and governance of all training activities. With a strong focus on coaching, skill development, and performance management, the L&D Manager will help shape the training landscape and ensure that all training programs are aligned with business goals and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the scheduling and delivery of induction training across departments. Develop and deliver upskilling programs for Trainers and Team Leaders. Oversee the governance process of all training activities to ensure consistency and quality. Conduct monthly training observations, spot checks, and coaching sessions to track progress and identify opportunities for development. Support the creation of training materials that engage and inspire learners. Manage the L&D budget in line with organisational policies. Collaborate with senior leadership to align training strategies with business needs. Lead and coach a team of Trainers and Team Leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

Degree-qualified (or equivalent professional qualification such as CIPD). Proven experience managing a high-performing L&D team. Extensive experience in identifying training needs and designing effective learning interventions. Strong understanding of the full training cycle, including needs analysis, content development, and delivery. Experience in operational training and managing training resources. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills. Ability to work with senior stakeholders to implement strategic L&D initiatives. Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
