Full-time position of 37 hours per week

Fixed-term 12 month contract with the possibility for extension subject to funding.

Annual salary of £25,810.47, rising by 4% upon successful completion of probationary period

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.

Main purpose of the post:

The Lead Accommodation Caseworker will embody our values of being client-focused, positive, ethical, ambitious, passionate and agile, as well as wanting to make a difference and transform people's lives. You will be responsible for setting the quality and tone of our accommodation-based support, coordinating the delivery of personalised support packages for all individuals accessing the service and encouraging a culture of positive engagement which ensures that residents are equipped to move on confidently and progress in their journey of recovery.

You will have a small caseload of your own and lead on partner relationships with housing, benefits, social services, and health teams whilst coordinating and case managing your own small service team. You will also partake in relevant meetings and development and be a part of our 'on call' rota.
