Ref - 5367400. We’re on the lookout for a Lead Animator to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will drive the visual storytelling of my client's games, ensuring that characters come to life with energy and emotion. Collaborating closely with other artists, designers, and developers, you will set the standard for animation quality and innovation while fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Your extensive experience will guide the animators, helping to develop their skills while keeping them motivated and inspired. You’ll work on a range of projects, from exciting new game concepts to compelling updates on existing titles. Your artistic insight and leadership will not only shape the animation pipeline but also contribute to the overall vision of their games, creating engaging experiences for players around the globe. Responsibilities:

Lead the animation team in creating high-quality character animations for our games. Collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to ensure animations fit seamlessly within the game mechanics. Oversee the animation pipeline, providing guidance and feedback to junior animators. Develop and maintain animation styles and techniques that align with the game’s vision. Create animation prototypes and test animations within the game engine for feedback and iteration. Participate in pre-production planning, including concept development and storyboard creation. Stay updated on industry trends to implement innovative techniques and tools into our animation processes. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Lead Animator or similar role in the game industry. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of animation styles and techniques. Proficiency with animation software such as Maya, Blender, or similar tools. Solid understanding of principles of animation and character rigging. Experience working with game engines, particularly Unity or Unreal Engine. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback. A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing the skills of team members.
