About the Role: As Lead Behaviour Support Manager you will be a key member of the Pastoral Team with responsibility for the daily management of interventions, the IER room and the On-call system for the removal of students from classrooms. You will: Maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour for students whose conduct prevents them from accessing the curriculum. Manage the Internal Exclusion room, ensuring that there is a programme designed to enable students to reflect on their behaviours and giving them the skills to make positive change. Contribute to the provision of mentoring, personalised interventions and the organisation of Restorative justice conferences as required. Manage the Deputy Lead Behaviour Support Manager and a team of Behaviour Support Workers. About you: A knowledge of good practice in educational inclusion, diversity and access is essential Must have an understanding of the requirements of the current Ofsted framework You should be educated to at least Level 3 (A levels or Level 3 Vocational qualifications), a degree would be desirable You will also need to have experience of working with disadvantaged young people in Key Stages, 3 4 or 5 together with experience of using trauma informed approaches and evidence based intervention programmes or a willingness to undertake training You will also need experience of managing and leading a team We can offer you a supportive team, access to CPD courses and a commitment to staff wellbeing.
