From a task perspective, you will be working in one of our Analytics teams, focussing on delivering shared outcomes that have been prioritised, bringing your analysis outputs as part of a multi-skilled team. You’ll be able to identify opportunities to deliver ‘more’, where you may be working alongside others or on individual assignments and take ownership for ensuring things are done correctly. This could mean you apply your skills to supporting proposition development, unlocking insights to support Channel developments, or supporting resolution of Member operational incidents with auditable, well controlled data. As a Lead BI Specialist, you will be expected to provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues and invest time in growing collective capability in the Society through your core area of expertise. About you
We’re looking for candidates that have experience within an analysis or data driven environment. As a minimum requirement you’ll: Have demonstratable experience in data analysis, transforming and interpreting complex data into easily consumable requirements or stories. Ability to provide highly effective subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders, translating technical detail into clear and concise messaging. Experience of delivering end to end insight projects from initial scoping and prioritisation to creating and presenting easily consumable and actionable insights. Be proactive, self-sufficient and innovative with the ability to task manage a small number of analysts to deliver shared outcomes. Comfortable working with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines, managing your own time effectively to meet objectives. Have excellent communication skills and be good at building relationships across all levels. Can demonstrate programming experience using SAS, Teradata
