In so doing, we connect logistics teams and engineers: End-to-end, office to hangar, service to billing, works order to completion, and every interaction in between. Role Overview:

Due to our ongoing success and expansion, we are looking for skilled and ambitious Head of Cloud to lead our cloud team. Working with our development and architecture teams to design, deliver, and support cloud solutions that are redundant, scalable, and cost efficient to support our multiple cloud platforms across aviation, security, fuel management, and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and develop best practices for our cloud engineering function, designing and implementing the most optimal cloud solution using the latest tools. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a team and continuing looking to improve their skills. Technical Skills:

Minimum 5 years' experience of AWS cloud environment Experience of configuration management, containerisation, automation, and infrastructure as code. Demonstrable experience in working with web services, including public API's, REST and other web platforms Experienced in designing and implementing best practice cloud solutions Supporting Windows Active Directory / Windows Server environments Experience of supporting relational databases Good technical ability and understanding of networking infrastructure Experience of working to and delivering to deadlines Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal) Experience with Networking such as Site to Site VPNs, Subnets, Firewalls etc Highly desirable but not essential:

Cloud certification Oracle DBA experience Scripting in Bash and PowerShell Experience of moving applications to cloud Experience in supporting .NET / Java applications Our recruitment process:

Initial 5-10 minute call with HR to explain process and provide more information about the role. Practical Assessment which covers AWS, Linux, Bash, Networking, Security, Git, Docker and SQL and is comprised of Multiple choice questions, coding challenges and open-ended questions. This can be done in your own time and typically takes between 1-3 hours dependent on skill level. 1 hour interview with our Chief Technology Officer. 1 hour Final Stage interview with our Director of Technology.
