The Lead Construction Laborer will run the onsite emergency services activity. They are our first onsite point of contact with the homeowner or property manager and play a critical role in the overall success and experience for ES projects. A well-balanced, organized and experienced individual who communicates well will fit this role best. Experience is a must!

Job Summary Paul Davis Restoration of Worcester County is looking to expand our team with candidates who are reliable, hard-working and pay attention to details! We are currently interviewing for the Lead Construction Laborer position in our Emergency Services Department. The Lead Construction Laborer is the onsite manager for the emergency services work. They are responsible for scoping the project, providing all necessary documentation, overseeing the work, and providing detailed information to all required parties. This role is our "first face" with the homeowner or property manager and must represent our values/vision/mission in every situation. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage and oversee teams are critical.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dress in appropriate and professional attire

Complete all work in approved accounts using approved software programs.

Provide initial site inspection

Scope fire, wind, water and disaster related losses

Secure the work authorization for the site

Perform applied structural drying per IICRC standards

Provide moisture mapping and documentation

Oversee and participate in removal of carpets, carpet pads, drywall, insulation etc.

Pack in and pack out of customer's personal items away from work area

Placement of drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, and specialty mitigation equipment) as required to meet WRT and ASD standards.

Participate in call rotation and respond with a maximum sense of urgency.

Some evening and weekend hours are necessary as the firm is a 24/7 disaster response company.

Qualifications

Minimum three years' experience in insurance restoration

IICRC certification in WRT and ASD required, and FSRT preferred

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license, transportation to work, and a clean driving record

Previous experience in construction or remodeling is a bonus

Must pass background check and drug test
