An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lead Consulting Registered Veterinary Nurse at an RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about all aspects of hospital care, including surgery, hospital wards, medicine, and nurse clinics. You will rotate across these disciplines to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to every patient, with a particular focus on the consulting service. This includes delivering quality nursing consults and building strong, lasting relationships with clients.

Established in 2011, the hospital has grown significantly, expanding its team and facilities to provide exceptional care to pets in the Greater Manchester area. A major refurbishment in 2015 included a larger reception area, an open waiting room, a fourth consulting room, and an expanded kennel room with spacious walk-in kennels for dogs. These improvements reflect the hospital's commitment to creating a welcoming and well-equipped environment for patients, clients, and staff alike.

The hospital team comprises discipline-specific nurses, rotating nurses, student veterinary nurses, and patient care assistants. Together, they provide 24-hour care for hospitalised patients and collaborate seamlessly across all departments. This is a unique opportunity for a nurse eager to channel their leadership skills and expertise into enhancing the consulting service, ensuring every patient receives outstanding care.

If you have a passion for leadership, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to provide the best possible care for patients, this is the perfect role for you. Get in touch today to learn more about this exceptional opportunity.
