Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve leading the design, development, and implementation of control systems for major projects in the nuclear and hydro storage sectors. As a Lead Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing system integration, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders, translating project requirements into robust, scalable, and reliable control systems. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, specification, and implementation of control systems for nuclear or hydro storage projects. Manage the integration of complex automation systems, including PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms. Develop and review functional specifications, system documentation (URS, FDS, DDS), and test protocols. Oversee and guide the configuration and programming of PLCs (Siemens S7, Allen Bradley), HMI/SCADA systems (Wonderware System Platform). Perform system-level troubleshooting, debugging, and optimisation to ensure system performance meets required specifications. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical engineers, and design engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
