Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration systems. Oversee and manage the development and maintenance of data architecture, ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions. Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team of data engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of data systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines, data quality, and performance bottlenecks. Qualifications:
Proven experience in data engineering, with a track record of leading and delivering large-scale data projects. Strong proficiency with data engineering tools and technologies, including SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP). Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools. Knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling, and data pipeline orchestration tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and at all levels of the organisation.
