About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned
Lead Data Science & AI Specialist
to establish and oversee a new data science and machine learning function within our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our data strategy and scale innovative AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of a data science function, focusing on predictive analytics and machine learning. Review and optimise existing processes and deliverables for maximum efficiency. Validate the use of prompt engineering and explore cost-effective alternatives. Scale machine learning models across different business areas. Collaborate with internal teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members. Requirements: Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and AI implementation. Proven leadership in setting up or managing data/AI teams. Strong expertise in predictive analytics, document data, and model scalability. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
