Salary - London £60-£75k ; National £50-£65k Are you an experienced Data Scientist with a deep technical skill set and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex problems? If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for you in the Data Insights team as a Lead Data Scientist. In this role you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable frameworks with AI/ML models to drive business insight and optimise operational processes. A bit about the job: You will build productionised solutions, working within cross-functional teams to bring state of the art machine learning to our general insurance business. You will partner with colleagues to identify opportunities to apply AI and make a difference to real business problems. You will create and share knowledge allowing us to grow together as a team. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Educated to degree or post-graduate level, in a numerate/programming-oriented subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience. Masters in Data Science desirable. Excellent in writing clean, maintainable, and robust code in Python, Spark, SQL-like languages. Worked with Snowflake or other data science platform extensively for MLOps and ETL. Proficient in machine learning frameworks and indicators of model accuracy. Partnering closely with our data engineering colleagues to improve ETL and data pipelines. What you’ll get for this role: London £60K - £75K and National £50 - £65K starting
