Express Recruitment are excited to be representing a specialist consultancy based within the East Midlands, that drive a culture of innovation, who are looking for a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing team of professionals with the opportunity to work either hybrid or remote.
The successful candidate will lead DevSecOps approaches and procedures, build development tools, test the installation of products, incorporate security practices, and ensure all working material is backed up and archived.
Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable software development experience, including infrastructure maintenance; have strong stakeholder management experience; and have a thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle with an astute understanding of each team members roles and responsibilities within the process.
For the position, they are offering a competitive starting salary of up to c£70,000 per annum D.O.E plus a generous benefits package.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead DevSecOps approaches and procedures whilst driving implementations Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure Complete all work with Agile development methodology Develop and test installation of products including ensuring a high level of security is maintained Release products to customers whilst ensuring standards and specifications are met Ensure product build material, including source code, is backed up and archived correctly Develop and maintain installation packages for products Ensure systems and software are compliant via patch management Manage solution releases and packaging for all environments via media usage Incorporate threat analysis and vulnerability scanning and patching into the release cycle Identify and incorporate security practices into the software build mechanism and engineering development infrastructure Skills and Experience
Demonstrable software development experience including infrastructure maintenance and following data security practices Considerable experience working with AWS cloud platforms and associated technologies Well versed in working with Linux servers Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC including ability to identify roles and responsibilities within the team to best assign tasks Confident with liaising with stakeholders at all levels to give progress updates during development lifecycle Experience operating within an Agile environment Vacancy Summary
