Our Team

The Natural Power Construction Team help clients to administer contracts and act as their project interface, supervising construction and managing specifications. We provide specific grid and electrical services as well as offering support in the form of civil and structural services, monitoring, witness testing and snagging inspections. Safety is always our first priority, and we are proud to include specialist safety consultants in our team. By providing a range of CDM and project safety services we are able to instil best practice to all our construction sites. Our engineering team comprises experts in civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and geotechnical engineering, they are able to make a project run more effectively and act as on-site representatives if required. Main Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be working on wind farm and infrastructure sites as the lead rotary driller with our Geotechnical Team to deliver a high standard of site investigation work. Your role will include many varied aspects such as site investigation drilling using various methods, site or project logistics and routine preventative maintenance activities or daily checks. Other drilling applications including water well drilling and installation, ground source heat pump drilling and loop installation. All drilling operations as the lead driller including a range of coring, soil sampling, open hole and wireline methods. Perform associated tasks such as in-situ tests installing pipework, general ground works, reinstatement, general labour, materials delivery etc. Professional team and client interaction. Mentoring the assistant drillers and passing on skills. Traversing remote sites using ATV mounted equipment e.g. BV206 Hagglunds. Routine plant/vehicle maintenance. Plant logistics, routine maintenance, and general good housekeeping at the yard. Supporting project teams with other ad hoc site works as and when required. Due to the wide geographical spread of our sites, this will involve travel and working away from home. General Responsibilities
