Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Electrical Subcontractor on an Energy from Waste project to recruit a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer on a 6 month contract for its West Midlands site.
The Senior E&I Engineer role comes with a day rate of 475 per day.
Key Skills
Working with the site design team Establishing what points can be completed as the installation progresses Coordinating and overseeing the survey, fabrication, installation, testing & commissioning of the stainless steel pipework and cabling for each instrument Overseeing the receipt and correct storage of instrumentation as it is delivered to site Controlling the delivery and distribution of the measuring equipment to the correct points via the design drawings with supporting documentation Confirming a suitable support design once the location is established and drawing up for fabrication and updating any as-builts to suit Coordinating the fabrication of the supports, mounting of measuring equipment, installation of small-bore stainless-steel pipe work Coordinating the pressure testing of the new small-bore stainless-steel pipe work installed with supporting documentation Coordinating the electrical connection of the points with supporting testing documentation Coordinating the calibration and testing of the points with supporting documentation Producing a QA folder documenting installation, testing & commissioning process
