Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes therefore required.Leading a team of designers and coordinating work tasks to achieve required plan dates or be a senior / principal engineer looking for a step up in their career.Managing design team budgets, produce scope estimates and recognising and controlling scope change.Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.Electrical design experience (Oil & Gas preferred but not essential) in delivery of Electrical projectsTypical software packages used for Electrical engineering design;- AUTOCAD (and RastorCAD)- Microstation- BluebeamTechnical experience requiredExperience producing, checking and approving the below design deliverables;- Block Diagrams- Single Line Diagrams- Termination Diagrams- Interconnection Diagrams- Electrical Equipment Layout Diagrams- Cable Schedules- Cable Routing Drawings- Bill of Materials- Material RequisitionsDemonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Electrical equipment cabling particularly;- Switchgear (HV, MV and LV)- Power Transformers- Motors (all types)- Generators (all types)- Variable Speed/Frequency Drives (VSD or VFD)- Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS)- Low Voltage Distribution Boards- Lighting and Small Power Equipment (e.g. Lighting, Sockets, Trace Heating)Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Electrical systems modifications below;- Main and Emergency Generation- Electrical Distribution Network- Lighting and Small Power Circuits- Trace Heating Circuits- UPS (Systems and Circuits)- UCPsPersonal attributesOur GENES, our core values, define who we are, what we stand for and how we deliver.
