A successful candidate is a lead/supervisory electrical engineer; data center/life science experience is advantageous! Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Oversee and manage all electrical engineering aspects of data center construction projects, from initial design through to completion. Design and Development: Lead the development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards. Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control and assurance processes, conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to onsite teams, ensuring all electrical installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and within budget. Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for electrical engineering matters with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and resolving any technical issues that arise. Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize project performance and minimize downtime. Health & Safety: Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all electrical work complies with health and safety regulations and best practices. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CEng, PE) is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry, preferably in data centers, commercial, or industrial projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP). Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC). Leadership: Proven track record in leading and managing engineering teams, with strong project management and organizational skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
