Working collaboratively within Rotork, we have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic based Team Lead to join our high performing team. Working across engineering you will take ownership of hardware and firmware upgrades whilst contributing to production plans and supporting new development projects and existing products where required. The Opportunity Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage a group of electronic engineers across both hardware and firmware competencies. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the electronic assemblies and firmware to satisfy operations/internal customers or suppliers as required. Any developments required due to alternative parts, fault finding or testing will be in line with company practices. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and an adaptable approach to working in a diverse team, creating fit-for-purpose solutions with them. Experience Requirements: Proven experience in analysing, designing, testing, debugging, manufacturing and enhancing existing/new products. Understanding of a variety of project management methodologies. Experience in task management, defect management, verification and validation tools. Experience in C programming (embedded C). Understanding of electronics and embedded firmware. The Successful Candidate: Strong problem-solving skills. An adaptable approach to working in a diverse team.
