Fastener Lead Engineer - Chassis
to join our highly skilled and dynamic Engineering team. The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Reporting to the Engineering Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and refining the chassis and joints systems while collaborating with our engineering team to design, test, and validate these systems to ensure we meet the highest standards of safety and performance. What you will do: Design and deliver ownership of Chassis Fasteners Support D&D to meet targets in terms of joint assessment based on hardpoints loads that involve preload and slip calculations, strength & FOS assessment & package Experience in Chassis Suspension systems joints with a variety of interfaces Define product technical specifications that meet vehicle system, manufacturing, service, and quality targets Define DVP to support track and rig tests Define CAE and durability boundary conditions and targets Monitor engineering completion (DFMEA progress, part releases, and DVP status) Who you are: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Proven experience in chassis and joints design for automotive applications Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to structural analysis and system integration Proficient in using CAD software for designing and modeling chassis and joints systems Experience in conducting advanced engineering analysis, such as finite element analysis Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills About us and our culture… At Forseven, we are more than just a team of professionals; we are dynamic innovators, visionary collaborators, and trailblazers who believe in making a difference.
